These operations are the basic ones and are required to achieve many of the final effects. e.g. to be able to select a desired section of a sound wave file is a basic operation required for many further operations like deleting, amplifying, copying, changing pitch etc.

1.    Split stereo into two mono tracks.

2.    Select a desired section of sound file.

3.    Enlarging X-axis to view minute details.

5.    Copy paste and Cut paste of selected portion.

6.    Creating new blank tracks.

7.    Selecting zero crossing point.

8.    Checking frequency spread in a selected section.

9.    Inverting waveform 180 upside down.

10.   Importing / exporting a selected portion from / to another application.

Each one of these is discussed under the other tabs like “Generating Sound Effects”, “Adding and mixing tracks”, “Creating mp3 file from audacity project” etc.
